Captain John Gary Hill John Gary Hill was born July 15, 1947 in Rutherfordton, N.C.  He is married to Diana Turner Hill. They have two children Justin and Carla. Grandkids Ame, Cailyn, Chandler and Judah are very important part of their lives. Fishing has always been a passion along with music, motorcycles, woodworking, cooking, and all things outdoors filling up his world. Captain Gary Hill worked 30 years for Bellsouth telephone in Western N.C. from 1968 - 1998. He has fished Santee cooper lakes and rivers for more than 23 years for catfish and stripers and has been a full time guide since 1998. He is trained by American Red cross in adult - child CPR, first aid and water rescue. Your safety and comfort are primary to this captain. You will find him patient and willing to help you understand his methods, tools and baits as they may benefit you on your home lakes.
